Chun-li is 100 percent original, I heard her hairstyle and outfit is inspired from waitresses from a Chinese restaurant. Other characters are inspired from other fictional character.

Cammy is inspired from Battle Angel Alita, I know it sounds weird since Cammy is blonde and Alita is brunette but they have the same fighting style. Their face is the same and their pose is the same:




Both are skinny Amnesiac super soldiers who got brainwashed by their creators. Cammy story is 80 percent inspired from Alita.

Charlie is inspired from Egon from Ghostbusters, he is basically a more badass and muscular version of him. Charlie is basically an Egon with Abs.





Rose is inspired from Lisa Lisa from Jojo's Bizaare adventure, Both of them are psychic old ladies who looks hot and uses a scarf as a weapon. Both are Europeans too. Rose is Italian and Lisa Lisa is Spanish. Actually many Street fighter characters are inspired from Jojo series.


Trowa and Duo from Gundam Wing are the inspiration Yun and Yang. You Can see the resemblance.

At this moment though Karin won the most tournaments. If you play online though You will be fighting lots of Ryu Players. Ryu is currently trash but he is so beginner friendly.

Yeah a lot of people play Ryu because he is easy to use his moves easy to do.
I like Ryu, but I can beat people with Ken also.

Ryu is easy to beat now though. My main is Karin and she doesn't have fireballs, she is all combos. I beat them a lot. I also main Cody who is a bottom tier character and I beat Ryu with him too. I hate Cammy Players with all my existence. Cammy is my Kryptonite. I cannot beat her.

I started playing Street Fighter II in the arcade like some of the others have said. My favorite would either be Ken or Chun Li. Ken because of his fireball and Chun Li because of her speed kicks. Similar characters I noticed with similar abilities are obviously Ryu and Ehonda. What are your thoughts?

I like that Ken doesnt look like a Ryu clone anymore. he now wears a T-shirt instead of tattered Gi. Chun-li is still one of the strongest characters to play as but story mode did her dirty.

Cammy has always been hard to beat. and you can be very cheap with her. I can beat the whole game with her pretty easily. and that is the old cammy. I imagine the new Cammy is even more advanced.

Compare to Karin, Yup she doesn't have projectiles but she can reflect hadoukens and even penetrate them with her elbow attack. For Projectile spamming... Rasheed have better projectiles as his tornadoes goes all over the screen. Daigo Umehara the Ryu player who became champion multiple times moves on with Guile and Charlie. Sonic booms are faster than hadoukens so great for zoning.

This december every single character except from M.Bison the dictator is going to have a free track suit dlc costumes. It is free and it has recolors too.

I have played street fighter before in my local game centers. People are playing better than me so I quit, I like sakura the most beautiful and attractive girl in the game

I miss the days of playing this in arcades. Even 10 years ago I was able to play some of the newer Street Fighters in the arcades. But I think that now there is a local arcade here with many 80s and 90s games. I am sure I would be able to play in there for hours.

This is why you have to wait for 2 years before buying A popular AAA title game. The base game Street Fighter V is $60 with dlc causing 5 dollars each. The base roster is 16 characters only.

Years laters, Now we have The Champion edition for only $29 dollars with all dlc character and costumes free!! It has additional characters too like Gil who is not originally a dlc.

I still play it to this day, Ryu rules! I haven't been consistently up to date on the news about it because I've been busy with real life but it's one of my favorite games and definitely a classic.

Sad for Ryu but he hasnt won a tournament for years. Karin and Rashid had been dominating Street Fighter. I think capcom does it intentionally as they want them to be the next face of the series. The 2 of them dominated the facetime on the storymode.

Wow that is sad Ryu is no longer a main Character.
I would think him and Ken would always be mains I think Akuma the guy with the dark power
similar to theres should be a main character.
I really do need to play the new Street Fighers. I am still playing the old 90s Street Fighter 2 lol

Seth the main villain of Street fighter IV returns with a twist. After he got killed his brain got uploaded on a woman's body..... Poison will be so jealous because Seth becomes a biological woman.

His male form is a dlc costume.



I think Seth hates his new body but he decided to accept it rather than stay dead.

M.Bison is dead by Street Fighter III, Street Fighter V is a prequel of III. I think the whole storymode of Street Fighter V is uploaded on Youtube.
