DuckDuckGo is not the best alternative to Googe. This search engine does not even have 5 percent market share.

Content.Ad requires approval. Don't know why but they did not approve me. However, they did allow me to manually load my own links and create a widget for my blog that shows Related Links. So I wasn't allowed to use their Sponsored Links. But I was allowed to use my own links.

As for the other two ~ mgid and propellar ads ~ I've seen them but never used them. I'll explore further.

Though quite familiar with good number of search engines but the rating seems a new dimension to understanding their popularity, what a life of a learner!!

Bing is well known, but not the second most used search engine. Baidu has the second spot.

There is no alternative to Googe. Google has amazing products from search engine to browser, video sharing site, blogging platform to ad network

I don't know about yandex. However, after Google Baidu, a chinese search engine is the most used search engine. Around 11 percent people use baidu.

I don't use yahoo, in fact I don't use bing as well. I use Google and I believe the only competitor, if this is the right word to use, is Baidu, the chinese search engine.
