Some people find it enjoyable to play minecraft for instance despite its looks. There is new game that becoming popular that is called Raft and the graphics is medium just like Stranded Deep game.

It depends.. but I usually don't pay much attention to graphics.. Mostly because I can't afford technology needed to enjoy cutting-edge graphics

But seriously.. I think that there are awesome games out there with poor graphics.. you can't limit the potential of a dev team only by the available resources they have to spend on graphic engines. There's a lot of very creative developers out there I think we should value that!
