Anybody Know About YouTube Earnings?

Postby ItsKatherineHere » 03 Jan 2016, 06:51

Hey guys,

Anybody knows anything about YouTube Earnings except Adsense? I am trying to earn from YouTube without Adsense. So, if anybody wants to share anything, it would be very helpful. :)

I knew a website that pays you to advertise things like shoes on YouTuve used by known YouTubers, sadly I forgot the link. :(

The best way I know to earn from YouTube videos, is to curate them on your own blog and monetize it yourself.

It's absolutely a good idea to consider revenue streams other than Adsense. Adblock users are only growing... PewDiePie said:

It’s a number that has grown a lot over the years, from roughly 15-20 percent when I started. And it’s not unlikely that it will keep growing. What this means is that YouTubers lose about 40 percent of their ad income.

Personally, I’m ok with if you use Adblock on my videos. Ads are annoying, I get it, I’m not here to complain about that. But for smaller channels, this number can be devastating.

Three alternatives are:
- If your content is suitable for another channel e.g. Twitch, then you might wish to consider that. Example of a YouTube user using Twitch: http://www.twitch.tv/zeroempires. While ZeroEmpires is a very small niche channel, he gets a lot of support, donations and subscribers on Twitch.
- If you are creating great videos (especially educational), maybe https://www.patreon.com/. Example: CrashCourse. Supporters donate $28,000 a month to support them to create the high quality videos they do: https://www.patreon.com/crashcourse?ty=h.
- If you can get video sponsors that's another avenue. Example: DIY TRYIN: Each video has a sponsor with a short ad played in the middle of each video https://www.youtube.com/channel/UC31lhx ... hmL0fwWBYg.

No ideas about Subscribers and Views Katherinehere.. Few months before i deleted all the mails which i received . Now i checked for them but they were missing from trash . I think after 60 days it will be deleted permanently. So unable to find any such old mails . But i will try my best to find out and if i find any, definitely i will send you.

One quick idea is to edit your Forum Coin profile to include a link to your YouTube Channel so a little globe shows under you name that people can click to go there.

Then if you want to get more aggressive, buy a signature for 100 Forum Coins and write a catchy one to link to your latest funny video.

You also can try to offer FC for views and subscribers :P. There is another Youtuber on ForumCoin too and he did that. I think it works to some degree :). If your content is good, sooner or later you will get a good amount of views.

Yes I have allowed YouTube for ads, but for now earning is so little. You just need to working on this video , to gain traffic and visit. I use empire.kred where I can make mission to ask other members to view my video's.
Some people are using microworkers and other simmilar websites for micro task. Where you create job invest some money and workers subscribe on your YouTube channel.

Just don't kid yourself into thinking that Google doesn't know what you are doing. If you want true ranking that sticks, you need to be natural.

I am currently looking into this side of thing since I have heard that people are making money with YouTube. It is just a curious thing for me because I have absolutely no knowledge about any of this. It is good to read this thread to see what else I can learn.

I don't know what your channel is about but you’re much more likely to build up revenue by getting an audience through constant content, whether you’re making vlogs, cat videos or just talking about creams.

I don't know too much about YouTube earnings. However, I have had a channel since like 2008 or around that time and have made about $50 on ads. I think you just have to enable the ads on your videos and make sure you don't use copyrighted content.

My youtube videos have earned 3 since I monetized it in October of 2016. But my views are small. One video getting 100 views is already a good number. Maybe I could earn a lot if I have videos that would go viral as to get a thousand views.

Yes dear @oldbuddy this is true, but I also record video when I`m on some party, then I monetize my video put adsense, and share on twitter, facebook, or any other website like Empire.Kred, on this website E.Kred is not allowed to ask someone to click on your add. Only you can ask other users to review your video. There I get real click without any asking anyone to click on add. And this get me better result than website like micro workers, or Jobboy, or similar website. But your video must be good quality also.
