Netflix is our only source of I guess what one might consider as a cable service. I cut the cable in 2010. I love netflix tons of great movies and shows. Lots there for kids as well so its good for people with small children. Also a decent section of anime and foreign films.

Happy to note that India has received one more entertaining service provider like Netflix, a multinational provider of on-demand Internet streaming media, where in we can enjoy our TV programmes and movies in PC . I wish to find out who is providing this service in our area and engage them from the next month so that i need not rely on our cable operators who takes away some important channels on and off without informing us in advance putting us in great inconvenience

I think it will not work in India as we do not have requited speed for the time being but once we have proper connectivity and speed the service will take the advantage of being the first in our country.

Netflix announced it has expanded to 130 more countries. It made this announcement while the company's leader was making a presentation at the Consumer Electronics Show in Las Vegas. India is one of the countries. :)

I'm so glad to hear this. They just recently expanded to Japan too and the service is great here. I love using Netflix so it's great to see they're doing well.

It is good that Netflix is expanding its services to other countries but I would do a bit of research first before signing up. I read somewhere that Netflix is also offering its services to the Philippines but it seems that the movie options are not as "complete" as the US version.

As most others seem to be, I too am happy to hear of this news, although I did already think that Netflix was already available worldwide, India included.

I love Netflix. It has a good selection of movies, TV shows, and kid friendly shows. My kids love it, too. My daughter watches it a lot of the time on her tablet. I like that they put the movies and shows for kids in its own category so they do not have to go through all shows that are not age appropriate for them. The price is decent too. Much better than paying for cable each month.

Now Netflix has limited Indian content, but they are working on getting more partners on board. So it may take time to get advantage of the service.

I don't use Netflix, first because I don't have time to watch tv and second because I have cable, i know their services are quite good, some friends have it and recommend. It is good to know that they are expanding their services to more countries around the world cause this app is maybe the only way to some people ahve access to some series and movies.

Netflix has announced that it is now available in India. Now very few Hindi general entertainment channels and movies are available .At present, Netflix pricing in India is very similar to what they offer to US consumers so it may be costly in Indian market comparing other services.
