My laptop came without a CD drive I was quite upset about it actually. Stupidly when I ordered it I forget to check if it had one because I assumed it would. By surprise it came without one. Ah well... I think if you search hard on Amazon or any places that ship to where you are you can probably find one. Just remember to read the specifications before getting it.

Try looking at Amazon India and Flipkart. Make use of advance filters and if you still don't find any then there is no worry as these days you can always connect externeal CD/DVD drive via USB cable and enjoy. I prefer it more as you can connect and use as and when you need , and remove it when you are not using it.

There are a lot of branded netbook or notebook with built in CD/DVD player. Take your time finding it in the Internet. Here if you would like to buy from online store like Lazada.

Leaving out the CD drive allows manufacturers to supply the basic computing needs in a Netbook for less money and in a smaller space, but there are plenty of fully equipped Laptops available. You just need to use correct terminology when you search.
