Sweeper is actually a KDE utility, so if your Mint has KDE you should be able to use it. I used BleachBit for several years and it's in the Package Manager, but it's more complicated and slower than Sweeper.

I'm actually very new to linux and trying out mint, don't know if it is kde. But I'll look for sweeper in the plugins directory.
