For those not using wifi, how much data do you use on average per month for online income generation? Is it worth the efforts?

I have not monitored the consumption for my data as I don't use my mobile phone to work online. It is frustrating for me to try and see on such a small screen. I have the iPhone 5 so I only text and answer phone calls. Occasionally, I use the GPS when I have to take my son to his soccer's game in another city.

If you have to pay per GB for mobile data, then I think you have to be careful with your usage if you don't have much business income yet. I had an unlimited data plan last year which was nice, but it still cost extra if I tried to use it to connect my computer or ipad.

When I had an offline job, I had 3GB, but when I lost that job I went down to 1GB to save money and because I was not using as much data as before. I do not really use my phone for income while not on wifi though. I only have a couple of apps that I would need to use data for but I use less than the 1GB for that. My other income app I only use on wifi at home.

Mobile data is pretty expensive in New Zealand.
This month, I've used:
750MB of my Data plan.
+ 500MB of free Student Data.
+ 29MB/ 1GB of Socialiser data (Facebook, Instagram Etc.).
+35MB of a 1GB block of data that cost $20.

I get 2 Gb for $29 and 1.5 cents a Mb over that, but I mostly use home wi-fi.

I have wi-fi at home but when I'm not at home I have to use data. I usually use less than 3GB a month which is my limit. I'd say I average at around 2GB.

I am not using Wi-Fi but have two different data plans for two mobiles. One is my regular one that cost me Apx $6 per month for 2.5 GB. The other one is for very light use which costs me less than $1 for less than 0.5GB. I am planning to buy WiFi router to use some of my broadband data.

I usually don't use my mobile to work online, I have wi-fi at home and I use it, though my mobile data is 2GB per month and it is already included on my month bill.

I downgraded my phone actually so now I have no data plan. I sometimes turn on data when not around Wi-Fi if I need to check something but try not to. I think it charges me 5 cents per MB or something. Since doing that the worst it has done is placed an extra $2.00 on my bill. I am home a lot so I just use the Wi-Fi here.

Hmm, haven't really looked at mine since I have wi-fi at home - so I only use 3G when traveling. Although I think it is not too much otherwise my manager will let me know about it since it is also a company phone
