Mouse unexpectedly dies in the bloom of life

Postby RapidBlue » 28 Apr 2016, 14:27

Now, today I had to visit a store down the road to buy another misfortune mouse, because the previous one unexpectedly died in the bloom of life.
I am very sad now because I was used to my handy pet. Still, that's life.
Also, they had that small type in the store, but I decided to buy a better, bigger type just in case.
So, what is the life expectancy of an Havic mouse, because I am always puzzled with these table running beasts, they usually die on me after a year or so. Maybe I squeeze them too much?
What about you?

Sorry to hear that. Try changing the brand to something like Logitech, ASUS, SteelSeries or Razer. They seem to be more durable.

My mouse is internal so if I had that problem, I would have to use my external mouse

I hate when things like that happen. It always happens when it is least convenient. I have not had one die on me yet so I am not sure what the life span of them are. Mine are HP brand except for the one I use with my laptop. That one is dynex that I had gotten for cheap 2 years ago with my laptop. Maybe changing the brand would help.

I haven't use a mouse in years, and before that I have a very decent mouse that lasted longer than my own desktop.

If you can wait, shop online at eBay or Amazon for a more reputable brand to avoid the mishap. I believe in the phrase "you get what you paid for". If you have Amazon Prime, your item will arrive the next day, and I always find that online prices are so much cheaper.

I am starting to use my touch screen more than the mouse and I like that.

I quit using a wireless mouse sometime ago because I found the computer would not respond to certain mouse clicks when the battery started getting low.

So still, my mouse is a cheap ole "Wired" USB mouse.

Not sure if you're into gaming-grade ones, but I have had a Corsair M65 for quite some time now. I'm extremely satisfied with it. You can set three levels of sensitivity to which you can switch on the fly using a button on the mouse. I usually use mine at 800 dpi.

Mine didn't die but got some mental issues I think, it was moving all over the place by itself. Whenever I wanted to a little up or down, it scrolled the page up and down like a crazy monkey. So I had to put it to rest.

I have had that happen, but I noticed a little circle icon on the side of the page that told me it was in a special mode. If I click the mouse on a blank spot it quits.

That happens when you click and hold the mouse wheel, it was not that, it was a mouse problem.

Maybe they are dying on you because of the way you handle them they are delicate and they need to be handled with care or change the model
