Which is more convinient: Smarphone or computer?

Postby Decentlady » 06 May 2016, 07:28

My answer would be a smartphone. Of course it's a biased answer as I am hardly at home and can't imagine opening up and connecting via a laptop everywhere for my internet needs. The tiny font size and screen are the two major drawbacks but sometimes I miss using a mouse too!

It is really convenient to use smart phones especially when you are on-the-go but there are some mobile apps or websites that are a little bit limited in terms of features on the mobile version. So convenience yes, smart phone gets my vote but the overall usability and feature is still the laptop/PC for me.

I feel it is convenient operating the pc rather than the smart phone because i am comfortable with the keyboard rather than the smart phone but it is easy to carry the phone and operate it even from sitting in the bus or train or from any place . where as we can not carry the pc .

I only use my smartphone to acess internet if I haven't other option. Usually I prefer to use my ipad, but I also use a desktop computer. But as a great innovation and for giving us the possibility to acess the internet whenever we are my vote goes to smartphone too.

I prefer laptops but I know smartphones are way much more easy to carry and access the internet from everywhere. But the stuff you can do on a PC, it takes too much effort and time to do the same on a smartphone. You can say I'm more used to laptops, though I've been using smartphones for years, I only use them for internet when I do not have access to my laptop.

I use my smartphone through the day, but only because I am home most of the time and have Wi-Fi, but if I had to pay for 3G.4G data, it might be a different story. That is of course unless you are paying for unlimited data anyway, the why not use it.

My answer would be both as the old saying goes "what a needle can do a sword can't" same for a a smartphone or computer. You can't carry a computer everywhere or you can't carryout every job on your smartphone.

I'd say Smartphone is more convenient but sometime too limited. I mean ... yes Smartphone have things like Gyroscope and GPS which a normal computer don't have. However computers have better and more powerful processors, ram and bigger storage. There are both good and bad in their owns way. I like to use computer but ... Smartphone is more convenient.

And that is why I store my Bitcoin in my Andorid smartphone. :).

Actually since we now have Cloud storage, both of them have unlimited space to store what is important.

I guess both of them are convenient for some task or the other, as one cannot carry out every task at them. But yeah, the answer would be a smartphone, since one can carry it anywhere and do a lot with it.

I think it is safe to say you can carry out ALL tasks with the laptop/PC. The smart phone is just a good alternative if you want to multi-task or work online when you are on-the-go.

PC will always be what I prefer. Especially now that my cell phone has no data plan. So unless I am somewhere with free Wi-Fi I can't do much outside the home with it unless internet is not required. I am home a lot so my internet connection here and computers work fine for me.

It really depends on what you want to do. If you wish to do a lot of fast typing, a laptop would be convenient. If you wish to perform simple tasks such as browsing social media sites, a smartphone would be convenient. So, at the end of the day, your needs will determine whether a smartphone is more convenient than a computer.

Just for the convenience alone, I have to go with the smartphone! You can do almost anything with it, but it depends on how comfortable you're with it. I like my smartphone, and I know I can do many things with it, but I still prefer to use my laptop for most things that I have to do.
