How to boost internet signal strength for my mobile carrier

Postby germainebull » 12 May 2016, 04:35

I usually have trouble using internet provided by my mobile carrier at my rural home.

Problem is: I plan to spend a great deal of time at this home.

Is there a DIT trick for improving internet signal strength?

Kindly note: Moving out is not an option.

You could check with other Internet Service Providers in your area or find a satellite solution. Make sure you have optimum delivery of the signal from your providers point of entry to your computer, which probably means using hard wired connections instead of Wi-Fi. They are only responsible for getting the data stream to your house, then from there to your computer is your job.

Since age is no longer creeping up on me, but rushing in like an NFL ball carrier on 4th down from the 1 yard line. it's very simple.

I would suggest satellite that will be more convenient for you with less problems if any it works pretty well with people who are not in a good coverage area of the internet

I agree with oldbuddy. I don't think there is much you can do especially if your mobile phone provider doesn't have a wide coverage in the area. Probably better to invest in a wi-fi for your home use and connect from there.

I think wi-fi is a good option in cases where MSP aren't covering in an area. Although wi-fi also operates within a certain range, you might want to find a spot that gives the signal in all areas within your home.

I also agree with @oldbuddy and @cessy_08 ! There is not a thing you can do if your mobile carrier doesn't cover a large area. Check around to see which carrier covers more of the area for the same price and make a switch if you are not under obligations with them for the year.
