Can I create unlimited email addresses on yahoo?

Postby germainebull » 14 May 2016, 04:54

I've noticed that gmail limits the number of email addresses I can create.

To do this email requires phone verification for each new account.

The gmail system rejects phone numbers that have been 'used too many times'.

I wanna know: Can I create unlimited email addresses on yahoo?

I am not sure of the recent restrictions but initially when yahoo was a new thing we didnot have many restrictions and I had several friends with multiple accounts. It all depends on what info they ask for while registering of late.

I've got multiple email addresses with google, and can't remember needing phone verification for the extra ones. You can also modify an existing Gmail address to help with filtering. If your address is myemail@gmail.com, you can add extra words with a "+": myemail+keyword@gmail.com. You can also split your account name with periods: my.email@gmail.com.

Now that was helpful news bit. As I wasn't aware that you could actually do that!

Thanks @germainebull for bringing this up. I learnt something new. Although a little more clarification on how to go about changing the email id will help. I intend to modify mine.

I am not sure why you would need so many email addresses, but yes they do ask for phone numbers even with the active current email addresses. I chose not to give out my phone numbers and provided them with another email account. Everything nowadays wants you to give them your phone numbers.

I have several accounts with Google and Yahoo. Some end with things like @rocketmail.com. You don't have to verify your google account with a phone you can always let the system know you are not a bot. That is the whole reason for needing verification.

With Google accounts - I just remembered that I've used their Authenticator app a few times. This was when logging in from a different browser or computer. It's useful to use if you have wifi but no phone signal.
