Do you recommend dell over hp? I have an hp and though I have it working I don't have the best of experience with it.

You can get as many different opinions as there are users and manufacturers out there, but out of the dozens of laptops I have owned, Dell has always served me best. I have two of them right now and a Dell desktop too.

Dell is definitely a good option for business and lightweight laptop, but if you're looking for "horsepower" I would look into buying a msi or Asus laptop. They're better in that regard.
