Best Apple Product

Postby shamzblueworld » 12 Jun 2016, 08:03

What do you think is the best apple product? Is it iPhone, iPad or Macbook? Which ones have you used and whats your experience of the different products?
Which ones do you think are better than their competitor technology or gadgets?

An interesting question indeed.

It'd be difficult to state which of your listed products is the best. This is because these products are different/serve different purposes.

I have all three Apple products and they are all linked together. For example, if I receive a text message on my iPhone, it will also direct it to my iPad and to my MacBook, and so is with pictures that I took. I like this feature the most since I can work with just one device to reply to the message and access my pictures. There has to be more features but I am a new user and there are lots to learn.

My choice would be the laptop since I prefer to do things with bigger screen size.

I was a Window user before but I don't do anything fancy with it. The only thing that is different for me is how fast Apple is loading, shut down, and general running is smoother too.

Uh, how's about every single one of them LOL?! There's no Apple product I've used that I've not LOVED. My husband has an iMac and an iPhone, I have a Macbook and a iPod shuffle. Sadly, I also have a UK bought iPhone that's collecting dust because we can't unlock it from where we are :( If we could afford it, we'd have everything Apple :) Well, maybe not the smart phone, because I just don't have any interest in that.

I know they have different purpose but they all have different competitors right? So which product beats it competitors hands down? I think that will be the best apple product.

Thanks, do you think macbook is the best laptop then? Though I have not used macbook, I've read reviews where tech geeks have rated some other laptops above macbooks, but I personally feel ipad would be their best product because I have not seen any other tablet as good as theirs. Am I right or not?

For me, MacBook is the best laptop so far! I had too many problem with Window, and I went through two of them already, plus a desk top while my sisters and their families are still using their first MacBook that were so much older than my Window laptop. They had no complaint whatsoever!

The iPad is best for entertainment purpose, for myself only! I don't have TV cable, so my iPad serves as streaming online without gagging or dragging at all. I also used it to get online to do some work if I am out and about. My son bought a keyboard for my iPad so it functions like a laptop when I need to use it.

The computer forum that I am in had this big discussion about the rating on MacBook, and it is all boiled down to the price being high plus the social status of the Apple brand.

If you can afford to buy an Apple product, I think you should go for it! Check on eBay, and when you find one within your budget, check to see if they would ship International and how much they will charge to ship it. Don't forget about the warranty :)

Alrighty then, thanks @IcyFirefly, for the detailed review. I do want to own an apple product and hopefully I will, either an iphone or a macbook pretty soon.
I can't afford a new one so will have to look into other options.

ive got an iphone and an ipad. theyre both easy to use although im on my phone most of the time cause it's lighter to carry.

ive havent tried owning an android or windows but ive tried using them in the past. i find iOS platform better -- its easier to navigate and neat when it comes to its interface.

I have owned both windows phone and androids, I really enjoyed my windows phone, it was so sleek and smooth, I think that Lumia was the best when it comes to interface and speed, though it didn't have the high specs a usual samsung android has, I've had many androids and I find them the best for it vast free playstore apps. But I have not tried iphone yet. So maybe that's next.

I don't know where you live, but if your local area has a repair store for Apple products, check there too. My sister just got an iPhone 6+ for half the price of the new one. She traded her iPhone 4 in also and paid for the different. She ran a renting business, and with the iPhone 6+, the screen is bigger, thus she can use it more efficiently.

Check those stores out, leave them words that you are looking for one, whether it is a phone or a laptop or a tablet. If they have some to sell, they will get in touch with you.

There are many repair shops but they are quite expensive when compared with the shops in the cities, I think I'll visit the market when I go to Lahore, its where Asia's biggest electronics market is. I'll surely find a good deal there I hope.

Sounds like you have made up your mind in pursuing Apple, and I wish you good luck with finding one. I believe you will be happy with your decision.

Definitely Macbooks, at least for a developer like me. I'm a fan of PCs but Macs are really strong for programmers, I love the linux-type of OS and the ecosystem, it's pretty intuitive.

Thank you and yes, I've read so many recommendations and reviews of praises of macbooks and macairs, you get tempted right? So hopefully soon I will have the budget to buy one.

Yes I've used a bit of linux and I think it will be easy for me to use OS X because I know some of the commands already from linux.

For me, iphone is their most popular and best product. They have started smart phone technology with this product. Almost all companies have followed them.

But if you compare their specification with the latest models of Samsung, they fall behind, also companies like Motorolla and LG have some models with better specs than iPhones, what do you think makes them better than?

The best apple product imo would be the ipad. Has a wide screen, variety of games, and lasts long. (still have an ipad 2 lasting to this day)
Only con is its hard to carry and fragile like most apple products.

I like Apple products. I have an iPhone 6+ and I love the big screen. I also have an iPad mini which I have had for at least 3 years and it is still going strong. But I also like Samsung. I have a Galaxy Tab 2 that I have had for nearly 5 years and I let the kids use it. It still works fine. I would love to have a Macbook but I cannot afford one right now but hopefully one day.

With all apple products this last sentence remains the same, "cannot afford one right now but hopefully one day" isn't that right?

ha ha ha so true...they are really expensive. So for me at the moment, the best apple product is the apple jam!
