photo editor app

Postby theMARKER » 17 Jun 2016, 02:39

Hey guys,

I'm looking for a free photo editor app that's better than what i'm using which is BeautyPlus and Pic Collage. I've got old and new family pictures that i recently scanned and i wanted to work on them.

Any recommendation will be much appreciated. :)

I have been using PhotoScape forever, both on Window and now on MacBook. They have basic functions and more, depending on what you want to do with your pictures. It is free to download on both systems.

However, if you want to have a bit more options, try Pixlr.com and Picmonkey.com! These two are also free to use online. No need to download.

These are the three photo editors that I use and like a lot. There is also Picassa from Google if you are interested.

I use Pixlr the most on my smartphone, but I also have Photoshop Touch installed and sometimes I use that too, it actually has more features than pixlr but it requires time too, pixlr is quite simple and does the simple editing job very fine, so I'll recommend these two.

I have recommended Pixlr many times, but I use Photoshop Elements that I bought on Ebay for less than $20 (an older version) and for web graphics I don't think it can be beat.

I have never heard of Photoshop Touch, but I can tell you I have used Elements for over 15 years and never came across anything I wanted to do for web graphics that it didn't handle. With what I paid that breaks down to 10 cents a month, so I quit looking.

PS Touch is just like the Adobe Photoshop that comes for Computers, just a mobile interface, with almost all those features.

Not at all, there are plenty of alternatives. One free one that comes to mind is https://pixlr.com/

I don't use a lot of Photo editing applications in my android phone because usually i use photoshop in my laptop to increase the quality of my photos , but some times when iam busy i use Candy Cam App to edit on my photos and change the filters it's good enough for me but it can't replace Photoshop :) there is also a Photoshop app for android just use google and search for it ;)
