An online antivirus product that is billed by the month?

Postby germainebull » 17 Jun 2016, 09:45

I'm aware that virtually all existing antivirus products bill clients by the year.
This is however inconveniencing to clients, should the need arise to stop using antivirus product before a year is over.

My question: Is there an online antivirus program that bills clients by the month?

My internet provider has their own anti virus and I was just billed each month with my internet bill. I ended up removing it later on though because the cost went up to high for me per month. I am unsure of what other companies might offer a monthly bill instead of annual.

Since my anti-virus on my Windows computer (the only place I need one) is free, I guess that's being billed by the month (or year or even century).

Interesting.

I had not heard of such a concept.

Thanks for sharing.

I have never heard of an antivirus where you pay by the month. I think that most of them charge for a year of service. Personally, I would just use Avast or Avira. They are both free, and they work well enough.
