Postby germainebull » 14 Jul 2016, 08:49

I'm wondering; Apart from the Ipad, do all other tablet brands use the Android operating system?

That is a good explanation.
Thanks for sharing.
Are these the only applicable OSs?

As far as I know, you only have iOS(Apple), Android, and Windows for a tablet's operating system.

Windows, iOS and Android, these are the big three of Operating systems, whether its mobile phones or tablets. With android being the most user friendly option and most used as well.

I see.
So, does the Android OS support the MS Office Suite?

I don't think this is possible.
I'm however ready to be corrected by experts here.

If with MS office suite, you meant the Office apps like Word and excel, you can open documents/spreadsheets in Android/iOs operated device. You can also make updates but just be mindful that if the files contained macros etc that is Windows-specific, it may lose some of the formatting features applied.

Windows also produce their own tablets so the main players are IOS, Android, and Windows. I prefer to use Android though because it's the most user-friendly and the price is reasonable.

I think this is the first-time for me to hear somebody say that Android OS is the most user-friendly platform. Most I know would immediately go for iOS!
