I'm learning how to use Google+ to drive traffic to some of my blogs. No, it's not enough to promote my stuff on Twitter and Facebook.

Do you have a Google+ profile?

If so, how do you use it?

Is it used for personal or promoting your webites and blogs?

I just joined 3 different groups that I'd like to follow:

Animal Lovers
Inspirational Quotes
Trivia Unlimited

Update: After posting this I canceled my Google+ account. I still have other Google accounts but I had my blog connected with Google+ so when I was posting links to my blog I was accused of spamming the network.

I do have an account at Google+, I'll find you and add you soon when I open my profile.
I do use it but very rarely, but I have come to realize that it is very useful especially in google search results.

I have several Google+ Profiles set up, but it's too time consuming for me to keep up with them. I find that being active in communities pay much greater dividends.

I also have a Google + profile and like @old buddy said, it is time consuming, but it is a nice platform to share. Some friends use it as their way of blogging too and they seem to like it.

Personally, I don't see the benefits even with my friends sharing my post. They only "plus" the post and hit the "share" button without having to go to the post itself.

Yes, I do have one, but it's sitting there 'collecting dust' LOL I've just not had chance to use it to its fullest potential, especially since BlogJob went on the blink.

Google+ lets you set up a page with details you want to share and photos, videos, posts, blogs you have made all collected in a timeline like Facebook. It's a lot like getting a drink from a firehose (in my opinion) and I don't like any one website that tries to monopolize my time. Here on Forum Coin we can share and interrelate on our own schedule and even if you only have a few minutes a day, you can feel part of the community. Google+ (and it's associated apps) seems to want your full attention.

You're a member of the Animal Lovers group? Huh, I rarely visit that group these days, and for the life of me don't know why... But yeah, I use my Google+ page for business and fun. Though I'm currently working on gathering followers so I can better promote my work. My Google+ name is "Demonic. Remption."

I do have a Google + profile and I agree, I find promoting articles thru Communities can be a great help. I have a number of "alias" GPlus profiles but this is my profile I use for the "formal" content to promote.

Once you create a Google Account; Gmail - You can use the same e-mail address and password to log in to other Google sites. You can log in to Google Blogger and create a free blog. You can log into Google Adwords and search for keywords. You can log into Google Analytics and monitor your blogs' activity. You can log into Google+ and experience the social media site.

It makes perfect sense, if you don't have anything better to do with your time. I find it more productive to spend an hour on ForumCoin than Google.

Yeah, I was forced by Google to have one but I barely use it. Google+ is only used by developers and programmers nowadays, mostly for beta groups.

Actually it is not the case, they don't force you to do anything unless you approve it. You can even delete your Google account and it all goes away, but why would anyone do that?

What is there to hate? When I read a Google+ profile I am looking for information, not design. As long as it is easy to get the content I couldn't care less about the layout.

Wow ok, that's a little worrying! But thanks for the heads up, Sherry Sorry to hear about that. It's a real shame though, because I'm sure a lot of writers set it up mainly for exactly that purpose.

I have a Google+ plus, I enjoy, using this I don't have any Google circles yet but will look forward to it soon
