Which search engine is best and why?

Postby sherryinutah » 17 Jul 2016, 16:28

I spend a lot of time on my computer and sometimes I've wondered which search engine is best, for me. That being said, I believe search engine preference is a personal choice.

I like using the Inboxdollars search engine - by setting it as the default I earn a .10 loyalty bonus each week besides being compensated for each search.

At the beginning of each month - I use the Bing search engine. If I do 150 searches during the month I qualify for gold status; which means, I receive a discount on a gift card when I'm ready to redeem my points.

The bottom line is that I'm motivated to use a search engine that pays me.

Which search engine is best for YOU, and why?

Unfortunately, I don't think any search engine would pay me, an international user, for surfing.
:(
My review is thus only limited to performance.
In that case, I say that Google is the best.
It loads pretty fast.

I'd say Firefox is a good search engine, even though not evidently the best.
It does not give loading problems.

Zoombucks welcomes International members and one way to earn is by using the search engine on that site.

I like Google since the results are overwhelming with so much similar thing that I've asked for.

I use Bing to earn my points every day, Swagbucks if I remember and have something in mind, but Google is still my choice.

I have not find any search engine that pays, for me Google is the best. It is just the best, you can compare everything with any other and it will top the other one in every field of comparison. So it loads fast, has the best results and again, is the best one out there.

Google is the best search engine, but if any one is ready to pay I am willing to switch. How does Bing work? Can any one share please?

I guess there's no universal best search engine.
It all depends on the utility of a specific search engine to a specific user.

Bing pays users in gift cards but I'm not sure if international users are able to benefit from the Bing Rewards program. They have both; paid to click ads and a pay to search opportunity.

I usually stick with Google. When I first started spending time online, I used America Online and Dog pile. I have also used Bing and Yahoo as search engines. All of these are fine, but Google seems to be the one search engine I tend to used all the time. Google came like a storm and has been reigning supreme ever since it has been here. Google even has a tablet and applications that are very nice.

I've been using Google for years now. I used to use Alta Vista, but that's no longer around. Is Dogpile around? I used to use that one too.

Honestly, I'd love to do the Bing thing and earn points, but a housemate works for Google and is the one who pays the mortgage... so we all mostly use Google to help keep him employed. ;)

For me it is Google. Google give me the best results compared to Yahoo. Like when I am searching a trending topic, I will type the name or the situation, Yahoo is giving me the wikipedia and anything general with the topic and not about what is latest with the topic. Google give me the latest news and is organized.

It depends on what you want from search engine.

If you want to solve math problem then using Wolfram Alphra is the best searching engine. If you want to get better search results of image and other topics then google is good. In case of better results on local places, you'd find Bing is good. And if you don't like google tracking your results, then duckduckgo is good search engine.

I state that Google Chrome is the best. Safari, IE, and Mozilla keep giving me problems. The worst is Mozilla; it has crashed twice in one week.

According to me these are the browsers that you use to work with and search engines are websites such as google, bing, swagbucks, etc. There is a difference in the two.

For whatever it's worth, Bing is a search engine I've used to earn Amazon gift cards. Bing Rewards was recently converted to Microsoft Rewards.

In the past Bing did not accept international users; however, Microsoft Rewards might be a different story. It might be worth checking out if you live outside the US and are looking for a search engine that pays you.

I've been using Bing for nearly two years and I have cashed out $75. Bing is the best in my opinion because it gives valid results, some other search engines that pay give mostly sponsored results.
