Customer service response from Kaspersky?

Postby germainebull » 31 Jul 2016, 15:49

Sometime back, I had issues with my Kaspersky Internet Security product.
Curiously, the Kaspersky support service did not provide a useful response to my query.

Has anyone here received such poor customer service from Kaspersky?

Once I started using Linux a few years ago, I quit doing business with anti-spyware and virus vendors. I have no need for them anymore.

Since age is no longer creeping up on me, but rushing in like an NFL ball carrier on 4th down from the 1 yard line. it's very simple.

Kaspersky is known for their poor customer service, I personally never dealt with them but I've read the reviews online. The only thing you can do is try again.

Interesting.
Does this mean Linux has an inbuilt antivirus system?

People who create these atrocities focus on Windows, because they have the largest target. Since all I do with Linux is get online, if anything were to go wrong I can reinstall it in minutes without disturbing the data I have created with Windows.

In fact a good part of my time is on my laptop running Linux I boot from a thumb drive directly into memory, so when I turn it off any changes (like spyware) vanish into thin air.

I guess a certain level of technical know-how is required to operate as you do.
I'd however not mind to obtain this knowhow provided that I enjoy your level of convenience.

If you can read and follow simple instructions, the technical part is simple. Clicking a button and saving a file to your hard drive is about as hard as it gets.
