I've never been a fan of traveling because I don't like to pack. I think traveling to a different planet would be "out of the question" for me.

Thanks, but no thanks. I doubt if you can get Wi-Fi there so I would miss ForumCoin.

I'd say a straight NO to this, only because it is one way. I won't mind a two way though.

An Irishman called Joseph Roche was shortlisted in the last 100 from an original 200,000, for the much publicised one way trip to mars. However, he spoke out against the project when he became concerned that the shortlists were based on whoever could raise the most money for the project, rather than the potential astronaut's ability. He also spoke out about the potential feasibility of the project and as a result was dropped from the short list, more here.

I have read about what admin has just told about a long ago. When I read about the one way trip to mars I don't had much belief because now only research is going on about if life could sustain in other planets. But to me it will be a cool trip but the word ONE-WAY is a little bit horrifying.

This man is perfectly entitled to his opinions.

But ... we can't hold onto his every word.
Remember ... he is a disgruntled chap.

I didn't but sometimes I feel like doing so, I am so sick of humankind that there are moments in my life I wish to be so far away from earth. Anyway one must be brave to take such a decision, or desperate to do so.

It if was time travelling and I could arrive back on earth the day after I left, I might give it a try. But I sure wouldn't like to die on the journey.
I think the money spent on all this space travel would be better used to sort out the mess man has made for himself on earth.

I don't mind going to Mars, if it has food, internet and some transpiration. Because that's all you need on earth. And doing the same on mars is kinda fun. Some of the time you'd find that a lot of us would rather be solo than spending time on earth. It'd be a good experience.

I guess he does not like the fact that he was dropped from the shortlist. Call it a case of sour grapes.

Talk of an unadventurous sister.
I also have the same idea; Its better to be on earth than on some far-away planet.

Me too; I guess those who have enlisted in this crazy program do not have qualms about the idea that they would have to be buried by aliens in space should anything go amiss.
