There are many scifi films but the first film that comes to my mind is The adventures of sharkboy and lavagirl.

I personally didn't like most of the Marvel movies and also recently the prometheus movie is something I hated. Add to that the batman vs superman movie. That being said, most of the B grade scifi movies with titles such as shark vs gator etc are very poor in taste. I wonder how they recover money from it.

There are many science fiction films that are poorly done. For television, I can not help but to name the Sharknado series and the Mega Shark series. They were so bad and unbelievable, I could not help but to laugh. Most of the science fiction films that I view theatrically are not that bad. Although the reboot of The Fantastic 4 should not have been made. Somewhere in Hollywood, a screenwriter has lost a job.
