My wife is a substitute assistant at our school district and digital boards are used extensively, along with iPads at just about every desk.

There were no digital boards at my time. There was a chalk board. Things were traditional at the time I was on school.

I know that my kids have said that their teacher used a white board. I know that every classroom had an iPad that the students could use when they needed to. In my day we had good old chalkboards and over head projectors that the teachers would use to go over lessons with us. Ahhh the good ole days.

Not in my granddaughter's primary schools. They use whiteboard and marker pen which is impossible to get out of clothes :( I would welcome digital boards to be honest.

No, not really. Schools in my country use projectors nowadays rather than the old-school blackboards so I think that's a step in the right direction. We're quite a few years away from digital boards.

In my country, they are just introducing tablets in primary schools. I think this is a step in the right technological direction.

I think tablet early in high school and other part of the education definitely helps. When I was in high school there were hardly any such tech progress. But now that it is progressing it definitely helps progress kids too. And hopefully this way the jobs would improve as well.

so good, it is a great idea, the technology now is the best, why no use it, is funny, more fast and is not very expensive, and in my country no use it, but maybe after.

I'm 18, when I was in primary school interactive white boards were used I do believe. No doubt they're becoming even more prevalent.

There are digital boards already? As what I observed in my country, we still used the basic tools such as blackboard, chalk and a pointing stick.

Its a smart way to study. Because its is better than white board because its is very good to explain the things. It is very easy to set up..
Mechanical parts and diagrams can be show easily so the students can understand the consept easily and it will help the student and the university.

Some of my high school teachers had digital boards. When I was in primary school, they didn't exist yet. Some of my teachers in primary school used computers for presentations, but that's about it.

Elite classes has digital board (and even stereo speaker for whatever reason), equipped. While, the lower tier classes share the downgraded version of digital boards, in the good ol computer laboratory. :)

True; digital boards are advantageous in that teachers can use them to easily illustrate and explain concepts.
I missed out on this advantage though as my primary school did not have such digital boards.

In our school, teachers do use digital boards but their use is restricted to two days a week - maximum of 4 hours per day. This is because teachers in our school believe that the conventional method of using the black board has the potential to produce a better academic output.
