I haven't personally, but it sounds like a wonderful idea. Why not put your shoulder to the wheel and judge for yourself, then you can write a review of Google reviews from your perspective.

How about giving us a link to one as an example so we know what to look for?

I think you should take up on that offer from Google, as you have nothing to loose since you already did the reviews anyway. If you can make some money doing it, great, if not, you can stop!

Was it really a Google rep though? As a company Google should always remain neutral when it comes to reviewers and companies. They are merely the middle man, and I can't imagine they would contact people randomly, especially after only a few reviews.

Sounds like a potential scam to me to get personal details.

It looks like there is a rewards program, if you become a Local Guide with Google Maps. Maybe it was an invitation to become a guide.

It's not that app. I have used that app; that gives you occasional surveys and you can earn a few pence every time - but the surveys only occur once a fortnight so it takes ages to build up cash.

I also got an email from Google about getting rewards by giving reviews but I have no idea of what type of rewards they are giving. I didn't do any review yet and I don't know anyone who tried it.

• Try a "Flat Lay" and set up a shot from above
• Keep your camera steady for clear photos
• Take your food outside and model it
• Clean up messy napkins and plates to take more beautiful shots

You can give your review for any place you are visited, like local caffe, shoping center , company ..
