I just got a new laptop last week, it is Lenovo laptop and my old Toshiba laptop broke. I wanted to ask members here are you preferring laptops or computers? It is a new age, age of androids, tablets, pads, etc.. but still my favorite is laptop, I just can't be without one. It is great having a good laptop, don't you think?

I like my laptop more than a desktop, although there isn't one in the house. A laptop is more personal while a desktop is for the family. My laptop travels with me and it is light to carry around. Also, I have limited space now that I am living in a condo, I can't even find an area to have a desk!

I like them both. I feel comfortable sat at my desktop during the day when I am more alert but I like my laptop when I am tired and can use it while I'm in bed. I also like the fact I can take my laptop anywhere I like although I rarely do as I have a smartphone and use that when I am out and about.

I prefer laptop more because I live in rented place. If I were to have my own permanent house, I'd choose the desktop. I also think the tablet can be a good option if either of two are too heavy. So it depends on space and personal preferece.

Me too, I live in a rented place and in another town, not in my hometown. I am mostly here because of my studies but I got one desktop computer in my family house.

I prefer a desktop because I use my computer for editing photos and I need a big monitor. I also prefer to leave the internet at home when I go out so I don't need to carry a laptop with me. I don't even have internet enabled on my phone.

I don't know if I have a preference, to be honest. I always work on my laptop, and never really use a desktop, so maybe that's why I'm leaning more towards laptops over desktops.

But yesterday my husband needed to attend a meeting and had to take my laptop, as we don't have a spare one. So when I got in from work, I had to work from his desktop, and I must say I really enjoyed it. Based on that, I don't think I have a preference; I like them both. But maybe if I could afford it, I'd have one of each.

I love the laptop than a pc. Its portable,some work related to my study or some presentation about my assignments i can work and i can show that job to my instructors and to my friends. Mostly i would prefer a laptop

I like laptop more than a computer because it is more comfortable and convenient for me to use. And also it is easily portable and easy to handle.

I agree that laptop is more comfortable for using and also very portable, desktop computers can just stay at home.

Of course laptops, they are portable and can be used in bed under the blankets as well

desktop computers are best technology and are best, and more fast, laptop are crash problems haha

I like them all and have several, but it's hard to beat my desktop with a 32" screen when I have real work to do.

For me I like desktop computer more because i have always work on the net i want fix unity of research and i think that desktop is more powrful in hardware quality and capacity i like also to work with the mouse i like it very much hhhhhh because it is ergonomic and easy to use

Before I never thought I will like Laptop more than Desktop. I have desktop in the office before and I am working online there if I have time. I prefer it first, until the time that I have my own laptop. I prefer laptop now because I get used to using it. I know I will not be comfortable with tablet and mobile phone, but I am working on my mobile phone right now. I guess I can adjust to anything if needed.

I have given up using a desktop for last 10 years at my personal end. I use a desktop at my office in rare cases when I must otherwise I use an official laptop there. I feel comfortable with a laptop anyways.

I would prefer them both becaus they will work either way. Laptops are good especially when you do a lot of travelling it's very convenient. and desktops are the best for home use easier to use and that are big enough making work much more easier to handle.

I prefer using my laptop because it consumes less amount of power compared to my desktop.

I'm a huge lover of my desktop, a separate monitor and keyboard allows for faster typing to me and is easier to use, and laptop touch-pads are torture compared to a mouse. Plus, you get a lot better hardware specs for the price with a desktop. Laptops win in the portability department though, and I will probably buy one if I need to use a computer on the go.
