Drink beer from urine?

Postby germainebull » 09 Dec 2016, 05:48

Some scientists have devised a machine that converts urine into beer. To me, this is a welcome move that would reduce the cost of beer.
You can read more on this invention here: www.foxnews.com/health/2016/08/07/scien ... -beer.html

My question; would you take this type of beer?

Oohh my just the thought of it makes me feel sick. What would be going through your head when you are having that beer. I think it's disturbing.

Omg!! I don't really expect this would happen. Basically, I don't like any alcoholic drinks so I will definitely won't take this. Suppose it may reduce the number of people who consume it.

OMG how desperate can you get? I quit drinking altogether many years ago, but there is no way I would be tempted to try this.

If my life is on the line and I had no choice, I would rather drink sea water over urine. I'm dead either way lol

For those who are alcohol drinkers and object to this invention, pray hard that this technology does not get in the hands of unscrupulous business people. It is very easy for unethical business-people to sell you this 'urine beer' as your regular beer. Be alert!

Does it mean that you always take warm or hot water?

It could be juice, tea, coffee, and milk aside from plain water. They're far healthier to drink than beer obviously, as long you keep the intake of sugar at moderate, of course. Sometimes I failed to understand why people had to release their stress with drinking beer or smoking, when there's women, sports, music, and games to vent at.

What do you mean by 'there's ... women ... to vent at'? Are you advocating violence against women by any chance?

Not at all. To put it bluntly, you can channel your desires to them to release stress through intimate moment. They can soothe your pain simply by talking to them as well. In fact, I personally think that female exist to be treat dearly and they serve as the main pillar of support in life. Without them, life is most likely to be crumbling apart. If you're fire, then your female partner is water. Sadly some approach is just of pure cruelty and violence, since there's many kind of person in this world after all.

-edit-

Also, vent means "the expression or release of a strong emotion, energy, etc."- copy pasta from google. It doesn't necessarily use to express anger or negative emotions

No, sorry, not for me LOL I mean, I don't even like regular beer, anyway. So I'm not ever going down this route. I guess if you loved your beer and were desperate, you'd consider it hehe

You are lucky to be liberated from the yoke of alcoholism. Not all people are like you. If you see the filth some addicts resort to drinking, you'll bet they would embrace such urine-beer.

You may never know that the beer bottle before you derives from urine. I don't think the manufacturer would be this honest and transparent for obvious reasons.

Kidney filters everything and if it needs to flush out, it is the urine. So it is a waste already. Why would I drink something out of urine? Yes, it is a beer and undergone fermentation, where yeast will put in there to become ethyl alcohol and carbon dioxide but I am not sure if it clears out the waste. I will not try.

Everyone opposes the idea, but if some random merchant will pour this in your glass rather than ordinary beer, I doubt anyone would notice (that's if it is really converted into beer and not some other stuff). I still wouldn't try it out if I knew what's it made of (I would if it were my urine though).

You have a point. Lets just hope you'll know that a beer bottle contains such 'urine beer' beforehand.
