Its official Google is launching its smartwatch in 2017. Google has had its presence everywhere starting from search, online advertising, online video streaming to a social network. Now it wants to enter in to the highly competitive wearable retail space as “Google Watch”.
Its competitor is obviously Apple. As apple watches had a healthy 70% percentage growth this year on its wear products
Google is planning to bring out two variants of the watch, they will not name it “pixel”though. The hardware manufacturing part is taken over by its previous manufactures like Motorola or Sony. The software part is taken care by the Android wear 2.0 operating system, which can seamlessly integrate multi functions.
Finally another smart watch from another tech company where the market is saturated by apple watches and fitbit’s.
Hope Google can add more functionality to its upcoming release or it will another lazy old smartwatch that tracks your steps and pulse rate.
