I have noted that my new HP EliteBook 2560p laptop has some mixed up keys. For instance, hashtag, @, and other keys are not in their usual places. I am yet to figure out what key I should hit to register a #. Can someone please advise?

You just need to change your Keyboard layout in Windows 10 (http://www.windowscentral.com/how-chang ... windows-10). Not all keyboards are the same (https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Keyboard_ ... tin_script).
