Do you use a USB internet dongle for connecting to the internet or know anyone who does? If yes, which brand of USB internet dongle are you using?

When we first made the move from the UK to Botswana, we tried to use dongles, thinking it would be cost effective. We were sorely disappointed to find out not only were they extremely expensive but also not always reliable. The ones we used were own brand Orange ones. I don't know if it'll be different where you are because internet access in Botswana is c*** but hideously expensive, anyway. I would only ever use a dongle for emergencies.

I am using a Huawei dongle. This device is 3G and has not given me problems this far. I have used it for close to close to 10 years.

I think it really depends on the stability and advancement of the internet offered by your ISP. I have come across certain dongles that are a pain in the neck regarding download and upload speeds. The dongles belonging to a competitor in the same city are however quite a breeze to use.
