Postby earthsalt » 25 Mar 2017, 15:41

Technology has really advanced. As at this moment, smart drones are watching over farm crops autonomously.

Where are these drones deployed? What is the purpose of deploying the gadgets?

You know, I actually caught a glimpse of an article along those lines yesterday, but never got round to reading it. Technology really is amazing. I love those video they capture of gorgeous aerial views I keep seeing filmed through the use of drones.

germainebull, I think these drones are used for monitoring agronomic aspects such as humidity, temperature, moisture, especially in green houses.

I think the concept is great, but I probably won't see drones flying around the crop fields in my country, as they are probably too expensive.

This sounds interesting but I have to wonder what these drones are doing? I assume not watering the crops but just looking at them in real time. As cool as that sounds that doesn't seem the same as looking after it yourself. I mean some of the bugs I have come across attacking our crops were so small that you had to be right there to see it. I also would think something so advanced probably is quite expensive.
