Ok, excuse my ignorance... but what exactly does it do LOL? I was thinking of Wi-Fi, but can't quite reconcile it with a light bulb?

Wifi technology comes in when you want to operate this bulb from a distance; wifi allows you to perform remote operations on this bulb.

An interesting idea if it saves energy.Otherwise if it is just a fancy bulb I may not like it.
