I've only applied for a chat agent position with Needle.com and the application process was very intense. After all that, I didn't even get in LOL It took days to complete all the steps, and for them to not have the decency to tell me I didn't get the job wound me up no end. I was disheartened and resolved never to apply for any online job of that nature ever again.

I would rather be a part of a well-paid chatroom instead being a chat agent. There was a messenger app but it earned me peanuts and I hated it because I was chatting with the complete strangers and every now and then some perv asked me if I am a girl...
If somebody could make a functional chatroom I would definitely join in.

It sounds a bit too much like hard work to me. I don't need any more stress in my life so I don't think I would apply for this. However for someone who is looking for proper work I think this would be a good option. I would imagine it's time consuming though.

I have over the years on more then one occasion applied to work from home chat agent jobs. Some were Canada based where I am living and some were worldwide. I never had the luck of getting in though sadly. I am guessing it is the lack of experience in using chat software for the job. I have plenty of customer service experience but do not want phone work.

I try to job hunt as a chat agent before. I know Kalibrr has a lot of chat agent job advertisement and even Jobstreet. Anything about customer service I don't have the patience for that  that is why I never succeeded to continue getting that career.

It's a pleasure :) In my opinion, it was even harder than applying for a regular, offline job! The worst online experience of my life!

Kchrist030515 what is the name of the company? I would be interested in doing further research on them. I have never done that type of work before but I am curious about the details of the process and the prospects for that company.
