Best Selling Phone in your opinion?

Postby kchrist030515 » 10 Apr 2017, 01:55

There are a lot of brand new phones coming around twice a year. Introduced by non other famous brands like SAMSUNG, APPLE and NOKIA. From the Top three smartphones that you have right now. Can you name at least three competing brands in the world that you think sells big? :D

I can only name one brand that sells best to me and that is Motorola. In my opinion, there is nothing else that even comes close. I have a Moto G4 and my wife has my 6 month old G3.

In the past it was Nokia, then LG and now it is either Xiaomi or Samsung
I have Nokia, Sony erricson, Samsung and Lenovo.
I must admit that Lenovo battery is the long lasting type, Samsung is perfect to silent the ringing tone by flipping down the phone

I can't be sure about the rest of the world, but I know for a fact that Samsung is big in Botswana. Apple may have cornered the global market, but over here people LOVE Samsung, or perhaps they find it's an adequate second best LOL I mean, it does just as good a job, and is way more affrodable. My husband and I have iPhones and Apple devices, but if we couldn't to replace them, we'd go with Samsung.

After Nokia and Samsung, the best selling is Moto and Xiaomi. My friend was looking for a model in Xiaomi but they have an only limited offer and when the offer opens on the specified day at the specified time and it is available only online. The phone just sells in less than a minute. :( Xiaomi phones have a much demand in my place.

I really like the Huawey, so I got a Huawey Y5 II and I'm really happy with it. No problems so far.

But I think the best sellers are Iphones. They are popular, and Cost a lot of :$: :$: :$: :$: :$:
So people use them for their social status :)

I have had the Samsung Galaxy s 6 for almost 2 years now and it has always been good to me. I have a few apps in there so I always have to charge the phone once a day. I will probably upgrade to samsung galaxy s-9 if it holds out that long. if not I will settle for the s 8 :)

What happened to the iPhone reservations? It seems that I haven't heard of the mad rush for the new iPhone anymore. So is it Samsung? It would have been Samsung if not for the brouhaha over the exploding battery of the S7 model (am I right on the model?). Give and take a few numbers, it is a tossup between Samsung and iPhone.

Annual sales by manufacturer (1Q 2016 – 4Q 2016)
Q1 2016[42]
Samsung: 81.1869 million (23.5% market share)
Apple: 51.6295 million (14.8% market share)

Looks like it may be shifting.

P.S. 64.9% of all statistics online, are made up on the spot

You have provided empirical data to back up my gut feeling. With its realistic pricing, Samsung will be the leader for a long time. At least in my estimation.

Chinese brands have a huge market share in Africa. This is because the phones are pocket friendly. You can buy a made in China phone with high end specs at a budget price. This makes them favourites in the African market.

With advances in technology the phones coming in the near future will be more robust than anyone ever imagined. They will also be unaffordable. Phones coming out of China will provide competition. There will be winners and losers. Time will tell. One+ makes good phones.

I'd of thought iPhones sell well but I'd guess if the phone you're trying to sell is priced well then would sell, that's my opinion anyway.
