No, I've never heard of it before, so I've never used it. What exactly is it supposed to be and how are you meant to generate some $$$?
I did a quick search, but from what I gathered, it's like a type of payment processor only available in specific countries (didn't check out the list). Found out more here:
I haven't used it but it looks very interesting, it would be convenient to be able to pay for your shopping using a mobile phone. I've asked them on Twitter if they can facilitate my Irish credit card.
Don't really use it. I am thinking of getting Android Pay but I am yet to register for a credit card yet (still 18 ). Looking forward to them allowing us to connect PayPal to Android Pay which they have done in the US but not in the UK. Doubt I would use Samsung Pay as the Android one is way better
I hav just upgraded to a Samsung A3 so I don't know if I would be able to use it on my phone. It is available in the UK but I don't know if I would ever pay for items this way. I suppose it would be useful if I forgot my bank card or didn't have any cash.
Samsung pay is similar to Apple pay. One way to use it is to pay for purchases. Instead of pulling out cash or a card you would use your phone at the point of service terminal. There is a communication link between your phone and the payment machine at the register. It is fast, convenient and supposedly safe.
Interesting! First time I got to know of this. This is surely where all payment processing are heading to. Once retail stores and banks are in, everyone is in. I also heard there is a micro-chip being developed in Russia to be inserted in your wrist. All your info like bank details, address is in this card.
Samsung Pay is specific to the samsung phones. In India we mostly stick with wallet such as Phonepe, Paytm and Instamjo money transfer. I am not sure if there are any other payment options popular like them. Most of the payment options have their own set of the limit so it makes me wonder if apple pay and samsung pay will be popular in india.
I have heard of it, but I haven't tried it. I keep getting notices on my phone to sign up for it. I haven't noticed many places that accept it around here (small town), but I imagine that some of the stores and restaurants and stuff in the city take it. I'm not sure I want to pay with my phone.... I think I'll wait a bit and see some reviews.
