Does anyone own an Alcatel phone?

Postby Mia96 » 24 Jun 2017, 13:21

I have recently bought an Alcatel Pixi 4 mobile phone and I'd like to know if anyone else here has this phone and maybe a different Alcatel model and how do they work for you? Are you satisfied with the phone's performance, memory and camera?

I bought my partner this phone for his birthday. He's never had a smartphone before so I thought this would be a good starter phone. They aren't top of the range, the camera is fairly basic and the memory not great but I know he won't use it much so I didn't want to pay out too much.

If I remember right, that was my first ever mobile phone. I don't own one but I've noticed that they are trying to revive the brand and like sprite1950 says, although they're far better than their first batch, I'd say they're adequate at best. Basically nothing out there special.

Don't really like their phones, they have good phones on the specs for those price range but their shape is a big no for most of them. I do apreciate though that they are the best sellers for phones for people with auditory and vision problems in Italy alongside Brondi.

My first new phone was a basic phone from Alcatel in 2000. I bought an old Nokia phone for $300 when the first company started providing mobile net work in 1998. The Alcatel phone was way cheaper that cost me only $70 (at current dollar rate). I don't think I will ever buy a Alcatel phone ever again.

I used to have Alcatel way back before when smartphones were not invented yet. I miss of l having old phones because of a simple way of communication. But now people are so busy with their smartphones, especially on social media accounts.

I never own that phone. As I remember, Alcatel is the first phone I heard introduced in the country and followed by Nokia. Until now Alcatel still exists in the market. I saw some people using on it.

I think this is the low end handphone, only bought by the foreign labour here.
