Generally I use Imgur on the not so frequent occasions when I want to quickly host an image. It is free, quick and easy to use, user-friendly and convenient for getting links to the image.

What's your favorite image host?

It used to be Photobucket but now it is imgur... just because of how often it is used on Reddit and how few ads it has compared to Photobucket. That or I upload the images to my own server.

I just use my own domain/hosting. I have a plugin for a script I use which allows to my upload files via the control panel so it is just as quick as using a 3rd party host however I have more control over the image. I can also have the ability to track how many times it is viewed and other stats like that although that is a bit overkill typically.

On WordPress I have Jetpack image CDN, so that saves my bandwidth. But as raw image uploading host I'd say imgur. No other host I know of right now.

Imgur seems to be most popular here. I follow their founder and CEO Alan Schaaf on LinkedIn, well done him on building such a great website, which he started whilst a college student.

I prefer Jpeg files, I upload them at my own blog, cannot figure out how to use imgur at FC, always did not turn out well
