Mozilla Crashing.

Postby fistsworn » 18 Aug 2017, 10:45

Hello, so my Mozzila keeps crashing.
I use it to play videos and gain credits, just leave it there and use Chrome for my other stuff.
Latelly though it started crashing too often.

I tried all google solutions:
Run antimalware scan, re-install, update to latest version.

But the prolem persists. Anyone has something else I can try?

You could try reverting back to an older version you know used to work without crashing and then hope that the issue causing the crashes gets fixed in a future version in the near future. You could also try disabling any extensions installed as they might be the cause. Alternatively you could try moving onto another channel such as the beta channel and see if that works better although that itself may bring other issues. You could also try another browser to view these videos such as Opera or Vivaldi or if you want to stay with a FireFox type browser, you could try Palemoon or Waterfox.

I was having trouble the other day (yesterday?). Check for updates, because sometimes that helps. It might also help to clean up your system (delete cookies, temp files, etc). After doing those things, mine is much better.

Thank you!
Never thought of down grading it.
I'll try that tommorow.
I preffer mozzila because I can run multiple clients (meaning 2 to 3 tabs wathcing videos)on that browser, don't know if others can.

I switched to Chrome for this reason. I find chrome really usable in many ways.
