Can people fall in love on the Internet?

Postby SuncicaZ » 02 Sep 2017, 20:28

Do you think that people can really trust to other people on the Internet? Id Internet the right place to start a relationship? I think that it is not and that we must be very, very careful. I would never start a relationship on the web.

I have experienced that before and I can say it is the false texts and lies that makes people fall in love. When reality hits you, you realize that you need to get out of your comfort zone to find love.

It's risky business that's for sure and you need to be careful when meeting someone you find on the internet as they may not be all they seem.

However my daughter met her partner on Plentyoffish and now 3 years later she is engaged to be married and they have just bought a house together. They are blissfully happy.

I think it is wise to be cautious when meeting someone online. I have known people who have gotten scammed out of money by a person they were "in love" with and they met them online. But then again, I know someone who has been married for quite a while to someone they met online.

Just as with meeting people in person, you have to be careful before plunging into a relationship with someone. If you meet them online and want to meet in person, make sure you do it in a rather public place such as a restaurant or other place that has many people around. Don't meet them in private and don't let them know where you live. You have to be careful because the internet is a great place to hide your true nature. Predators have made the internet their home.

It is possible because there are people who fell in love through the internet. However, I don't think the foundation of the relationship is strong. Also, it is not advisable because it has its risks because the person is a stranger.

It works both ways. I know of people who met online, fell in love and are married now. And I also know or have heared horror stories of trusting complete strangers. You just have to be extremely careful in this area. You might end up losing more than money.

I am not going to say it is impossible but it is for sure a fragile relationship. First of all we should be careful with whom we trust online, we never know who is behing the computer and in my opinion we cannot fall in love with someone without meeting them in person.

Yes of course, people do fall in love over the Internet. I have heard several people who got to know from the Internet and fall in love and get married. It's very possible and it's happening in our world today.

I've seen many happy couples who've met online and even gone on to marry. It can work, but it's not for everyone. Luckily, it's a free world; it's available but not everyone has to like it LOL I mean, it's the sign of the times. So many things around us are changing and certain aspects of our life as we knew it are becoming ancient hahaha But I just accept it for what it is. I'm glad I'm married because frankly, I believe dating is very difficult right now. I'm glad that people have all these various options.

Yea that is possible but it is better to turn on camera on internet to see that person which you like because with that way that girl on facebook or dating site can be a boy or she can be much different then on some picture. Also when you turn on camera you wil know more about her and you will know more better if you like her.

It depends. Fore, I personally experience falling inlove over the internet but it is not instantly. It happened gradually as we start getting to know each other. I could say I am lucky to found one that is really true.

I believe this is indeed possible, but yes, we
must be very careful before we risk in this kind of relationship.

Yes, this is possible. I have formed incredible friendships through Facebook. So I can imagine it will be the same for love. Love will always find a way.

Yes I believe people can find love using the internet my sister has done it and married the guy and they are very happy. I am always afraid to do that because you never know what time of person you might get they could be a crazy person and try killing you you just never know anymore.
