There are over 1 billions websites in the world. The majority of sites have the potential to be hacked and/or have some form of malware on them. There are about 100,000 vulnerabilities the can plague a website owner. Making small changes without following proper protocol or applying necessary patches can open a site up to malware. A site is only as strong as its weakest link. In this site safety series I am attempting to provide some sites that can help you stay safer as you travel the world via the internet.
Unmaskparasites is another site that I have used in the past. If memory serves me correctly, there is a search box in which you would type or paste in the url. The results will inform you of malware affecting the site in question.
Again I would not place sole reliance on the site; instead, I would use it in addition to other tools. Staying 100% safe is not easy to do but there are ways to help us stay safer.
