100% agree with you..too much for just only to make a call,texting,surfing internet and capture photo..Price is about brand only..New iphone have nothing special on it and not really up to date..Don't forget, it's can be damage easily on model before..Hope they upgrade the new iPhone like they up the price.

No thanks. Even if I had that laying around under my couch cushions, I wouldn't pay that much for any phone. You can buy so many more things with that amount of money. I love iPhones but no phone is worth that much. Like you said maybe if it washed dishes and some other things you might consider it. I think the price of phones and electronics in general are ridiculously high.

I am amazed to see people queuing up in front of stores and waiting for pre-booking to get the latest phones priced at $1000 or more in my country where $1000 is considered a fairly good amount. My most expensive phone ever is worth $520 so far.

I might wait for the price to go down. I think iPhones are high in quality, you don't need the very latest version to have a good performance. I currently own a 5S and I'm satisfied with it.

You are totally right.The electronics are generally speaking very expensive.I think due to the fact that they are in demand and trendy.Some people would pay exaggeratedly high price for the latest iphone etc.This is just something like a hobby and not something necessary.

I would not. For one I can't afford it and for another there are plenty of phones that are far cheaper which work for me. If I had that kind of money I would spend it on something I really needed rather than something I just want.

I hear you, Sprite. Frankly, I don't even want one. I don't care that much about the "in" name brands or status symbols. I've also known people who had this brand, and I just don't think it's all it's cracked up to be. To each his/her own of course, but a high end phone just isn't on my list.

The new iPhone 8 cost to $1,000 dollars. I may say that for those people who can afford it why not, but for the middle class like me, I would rather invest it in my business as part of my reserve and buy things which are useful and will increase our productivity on a daily basis.

I would pay 1000$ for iphone why not but only If I make 1000$ per month at least .If my mobile phone which I have right now die I will wait to increase my income and then buy new iphone because if you make a lot of money why not to buy some expensive mobile phone but I agree that new iphone version is too expensive.
