Offline. Online streaming can be annoying because of "queue loading". My kids download and then watch at their convenience. But I don't trust downloading stuff. So I watch online streamed videos. I should say: Watch and wait, watch and wait, watch and wait. It plays a little bit, then the screen freezes. "Video is loading." Sometimes though I get a show that plays all the way through just as if I'm watching it on television. Buffering sucks!

online. Since I bought an android smart tv and installed Kodi - I don't download anything, just stream. My internet speed is high enough and I can watch movies/tv shows in HD without buffering problems.
Netflix is another service I use. Streaming is much more easier than downloading from some shady sites where you can get a virus as well.

Online and streaming are preferable only when the connection speed is fast enough to support it. Assuming the source is legit, this method is also safer and more secure. On the other hand, one advantage of offline viewing is that an Internet connection is not a requirement.

Online movies especially in YouTube are now being banned. You can watch them if you want but you have to pay for it or subscribe to their site. So I would rather buy a DVD and watch them at home.

I really like streaming services like Netflix and Amazon Prime. I just wish the people making shows and movies would get all caught up. Some shows still get cancelled even though lots of people like them. I think they need a better rating system, not just people watching TV during the scheduled air time.

Yes, instead of watching it online, I would rather download the movie overnight then watch it in the morning.

Online definitely. I love to watch online movies when the speed is fast. When the internet speed is slow, I download into my hard drive and watch later. Have you watched Kong the Skull Island? Attach to a hi fi set, that will be a blast!

I prefer to download my movie and watch it offline. My internet connection is really good for download but watching online would cost me more than I bargained for.

I prefer watching movies offline. I wouldn't have to worry about running out of bundles or Wi-Fi getting disconnected. I would rather download it and watch later or just watch on TV
