How you register/login

Postby raaman » 29 Sep 2017, 11:23

Some websites enable us to register/login either via Facebook or twitter or via your email. I always prefer register/login through my email only. What do you do and why?

Actually I have registered both through email and social media platforms but I prefer email only cos registering through social media can easily give the site access to your social media page to post things without your permission

I don't mind signing up through my social media account as long as the site is trustworthy. Most of the sites I use I signed up with my email though. I haven't come across very many that want you to sign up through social media. I have two sites that have that option. As long as they state that they won't use information or post things without my consent then it is fine with me.

I prefer registering with my Facebook account because registering with email seems to be quite hectic more so if the form is quite long and you must confirm the email... the process is always long....

I also prefer through my email. However, there is no harm if your FaceBook is open to only friends. They will not see anything except your profile.

I prefer email id because with facebook we don't have any password and we just need to click on fb icon and it sign in.

I also prefer registering with email and password only. I expect Facebook and twitter to be private account and registering with them means I am giving another person permission to access it.

I prefer to login via e-mail. But if the site accepts only Facebook login - I have no choice but to login with my Facebook. But as soon as I decide to stop using a certain site - I remove it from my Facebook authorized apps.

I prefer to log in or register with my email address. However if it is not important, I just use FB, because my FB is not important either

I would never sign up for anything using my social media accounts, at least not my personal pages. I have started making new generic accounts, which I could use. I usually use a specific email address (the one dedicated to spam) instead of my main one.

I don't like that Social media request at all.it like they want to harvest one's person information. So I signup with only websites that needs my email.

I sign up through facebook all the time if it gives the option. It's so much easier than having to remember different passwords. So far I've never had a problem.

I make use of email id to signup and sign in,unless otherwise and the reason i like email is because i can't give another site permission to access my private info,or posting without my permission.

I do not like this option at all. I just bypass and go for the option that allows me to use my email address to sign up. I want to have total access to my social media platforms.

I always prefer to use my email for registration. If this option is not available then only I use my Facebook account. I don't have a Twitter account so there is no question of using it.
