Postby Streamguy69 » 26 Dec 2017, 21:24

I have been getting a message on my computer saying your computer is low on memory and click ok to restart. I have not done this because my memory is good. does anyone else get this message? how do you stop it from popping up? it is a pain,

What are you doing when this happens?

Have you tried clearing your cache, cookies, etc.? CCleaner works well. This is especially important when you work a lot of GPT/PTC sites or watch videos and stuff. Things get all clogged up.

If it happens while gaming, it could be a memory leak. I had a lot of issues with that after new patches in WoW.

This is common and the way to fix it is with CCleaner and a reboot.

I like CCleaner too. I've also been reading on some earning sites where people said they were seeing this problem with the new Firefox update(s). Some suggest using Chrome for videos instead of FF.

Are you using a PC? If you're using a PC try to remove the memory and then wait for 5 minutes then back it again. Make sure you shut down first your PC before removing anything.

The message is gone. I did a few things I learned from youtube and problem solved .thank you for all of your suggestions as I will try some of them if this happens in the future. I think it was kind of a virus to since my memory was good :)
