My laptop keeps blinking red light. What does it mean? I just recently noticed it a few weeks ago. Does it related to my battery?

Hi admin. Model Dell Inspiron N5030 and O.S Windows 7 professional. I know it's kind of old but I can still use it every day. I have no idea why it keeps blinking red light.

Try removing the battery and then running the laptop through the mains adapter. If the light stops flashing when you do that, it would be an indication that yes the issue us with the battery.

If the issue is with the battery, try buying a new one, or fixing it from a technician. Replacements should be pretty cheap, considering your laptop is of an older variety.

The red light could be an indication that your battery level is dangerously low .
