There was a game that was legit (although I haven't played it personally, it had good reviews) called "Dungeons and Treasures" IIRC. You kill mobs, earn gold, and turn your gold to cash.

Here's a list of games that pay you to play. I can't vouch for any, but you could do some research. It's an old list, but I see some games on there that I have heard of before. It might be worth a look.

MMO stands for Massively Mulitplayer Online game. Sometimes, you'll see MMORPG which stands for Massively Multiplayer Online Role Playing Game, like World of Warcraft for example.
