Mmmhhh interesting question never thought about it before. Utube is open to all and there is a lot of stuff that is posted there so its up to you to choose whatever it is that you want to watch or open i don't think you would be arrested. I stand to be corrected.

That's why people use Proxy such as the Tor browser, deleting history is less effective.
I once tried to type "something bad" on Google Search, it wouldn't show me any result but said something like "hey you, this is bad stuff, don't do that" and I was afraid FBI would have paid me a visit.
Curiosity can put someone in danger, so yeah, be careful.

Whatever you find in the clean web (therefore not dark web) tends to be safe, although it may seem bad. The real risk are the hackers and malware you may encounter.

Why will you get arrested for viewing NSFW or adult types if that's what you pertain of bad stuff in youtube? After all, if that is bad, then more likely many will report or flag the said video and then, it will be removed.
