Is going premium worth it?

Postby Netherrealmer » 28 Apr 2018, 12:59

If you upgrade your Youtube Account to Youtube red you won't get ads on the videos that you watch and there are some Red exlusive content only Red subscribers can watch. If your reddit account purchased or got gifted with Reddit gold, You will have more features than most members. Let's say you won't need to click the annoying "Show more Button" to read more content.

Many Forums that uses Tapatalk engine, Gives members the option to upgrade their account to be immune from ads. I don't really mind banner ads since its easy to ignore them so I never upraded.

So have you ever upgraded your membership on a website? These upgrades costs real money.

I was not even aware about upgraded membership on youtube and reddit. Some upgrades give better value where are some upgrades are nothing. For instance, the free hootsuit account allows you to share only on three social media site, however, upgraded account allows you to share on 35 social media sites.

I actually do mind. I mean if upgrading is just for a better viewing and user experience, I can manage without it. It costs real money like you said but I can pay the price by ignoring unwanted content. However, I might give it a second thought if i have to upgrade to earn better on a site.

I am not really making money through YouTube at the moment, though I am very familiar with upgrading membership especially on PTC sites and some survey sites too but personally i don't upgrade cos it usually more expensive at initial than the benefits especially for renew memberships

I have never upgraded my membership on earning sites or service sites, however, I am thinking to use a premium theme for my blog.

The only site I ever benefited from by upgrading is ClixSense but that was when it was a ptc site. I did quite well there and it was only $17 a year which I thought was quite good.

I upgraded on Neobux and rented referrals with disastrous effects. I would never rent referrals again.

As long as I have good AV, I'll let the ads play. I like Youtube, but I don't think I use it enough to spend real money to upgrade. I'm sure for some it's worth it, but probably not for me (at least not at this time).

I am thinking of upgrading in Canva because I could work with a team. But I will do it when I can see a good return on investment. I previously upgrade my PTC account but I am not currently doing PTC since I am concentrating on my blogging activities. For me, upgrading is an open option provided that I could see a good return.
