Enabling 'paste' function

Postby raaman » 21 Jul 2018, 13:46

A website on which I work does not allow 'paste' function on its editor. How can I enable it?

Depending of the browser you uste to navigate there are some tweaks you can use to solve that issue. Firefox has a tweak for that:

Go to about:config
Search for dom.event.clipboardevents.enabled
Double-click it to change the value to "false"
Restart browser

If you like to find difference solutions take a look at this page:

If it's programed on website, than you can't do anything about it.

It is usually a deliberate action by some sites owner, they don't even allow highlights let alone copy nor paste. I doubt any browser can enable it if it is programmed by the site owners

There is a chrome addon called "don't F*"& with paste", which works well, I have used it myself.
