Hi guys!
I need your help on some computer problem.

This is the issue. Until recently, my HP Elitebook 2560p laptop was communicating sound to my headphones. Nevertheless, the laptop recently stopped to convey sound to my headphones.
I am sure the headphones are okay as I've tested them on a different gadget.

I need your help in diagnosing and correcting this problem.

Check in audio settings (right click on audio manager in down right corner).

Try attaching your headphones to other gadgets and see if You can hear something. Maybe the wires inside the headset got broken... You will need soldering iron to fix them. Or you just can buy a new one.

Can you try attaching another headphone on your laptop? If you couldn't hear anything then check your audio settings or try to reinstall audio drivers again!

Have you checked whether its the headphones which have an issue. If otherwise try checking the audio settings and whether you have muted any sounds. Also you may nedd to reset your audio settings.

I've checked the headphones on a phone and established they are working properly.

I had a similar problem with my computer some time ago. In my case, I was directed to go to the control panel and find the sound driver. Search online for an upgraded driver that matches.

Delete the old, probably outdated sound driver and reinstall an updated sound driver.

That fixed it for me. Hope it might help your situation.
