I am aware Charles Babbage's name comes when questions are asked as to who invented the first computer. But reading through computer history I was fascinated with this invention. The ENIAC computer.

"The ENIAC was invented by J. Presper Eckert and John Mauchly at the University of Pennsylvania and began construction in 1943 and was not completed until 1946. It occupied about 1,800 square feet and used about 18,000 vacuum tubes, weighing almost 50 tons"

You imagine the strides the computer has made to reach where we are today from 50 tons to may be a few grams?

What fascinates me about that computer is that it has no screen.Everything you type is printed in paper right away.

That was too old, Now you can have a hand-size PC for less/more than 100 bucks this was totally impossible at that time .

Because of size and heat, bugs were very often jump into Computer and do problems. That is how expression bug is created.

I remember the first time our office got one We had to walk in that room with no footwear. Dust they said would ruin the computer See the strides that have been made now!!!!!
